Press-on nails typically come in standardized sizes to fit a wide range of nail beds.

Standard Press-On Nail Sizes

Nails are usually numbered, with smaller numbers representing larger nails.

  • Thumbs: Sizes 0–2 (largest nails)

  • Index Fingers: Sizes 3–5

  • Middle Fingers: Sizes 4–6

  • Ring Fingers: Sizes 5–7

  • Pinky Fingers: Sizes 8–10 (smallest nails)

The numbers correspond to the width of the nail (measured in millimeters) at its widest point:

    Medium: 1,5,4,6,8

2. Prepping for Perfection

Clean, well-prepped nails are key for flawless application:

  • Wash and Dry: Start with clean hands and dry nails to ensure adhesive sticks properly.

  • Buff and File: Gently buff the surface of your nails to remove shine and file to your desired shape.

  • Push Back Cuticles: Use a cuticle pusher to create a smooth base for your press-ons.

  • Clean Again: Use an alcohol wipe or acetone-based remover to eliminate oils and residue.

3. Applying Your Dazzling Design

Now for the fun part!

  • Adhesive Choice: Decide between glue for longer wear or adhesive tabs for temporary glam.

  • Apply with Care:

    • Glue: Add a small dot to both your natural nail and the press-on, then press firmly for 10–15 seconds.

    • Tabs: Apply the adhesive tab to your nail, peel off the backing, and press the press-on firmly into place.

  • Check and Adjust: Ensure alignment before the adhesive sets.

4. Sparkle Maintenance

To keep your Enchanted Creations glowing:

  • Avoid Water for 2 Hours Post-Application: This helps the adhesive bond securely.

  • Be Gentle: Treat your nails like jewels—avoid using them as tools!

  • Touch-Ups: Keep a small bottle of nail glue handy for quick fixes.

5. Easy Removal Without Damage

When it’s time to switch up your look:

  • Soak: Submerge your nails in warm, soapy water or use an acetone-based remover to loosen the adhesive.

  • Gently Lift: Use a wooden cuticle stick to carefully lift the edges, avoiding unnecessary pressure.

  • Hydrate: Moisturize your nails and cuticles after removal.
